Driving my life away-

As the saying goes:

Life is a highway, and if it is, I feel like I’m at mile marker 114 out of a 150 mile journey.

I’m at the point in my trip where a person starts feeling a little antsy, a bit cooped up. I’m a little nervous about my final destination, and it seems as if I have passed all of the really neat rest stops. Now all I have to do is enjoy the scenery (and it’s GREAT!) and drive on to my destination.

This is a weird feelng you have described. There are no more rest stops? Are you sure? Because unless I have an accurate atlas, I never quite know what is ahead.

I say. Kick into high gear and quite slowing down. You really don't know what is ahead.

You are taking the easy way out, and from my perception that is completely unlike you. What is happening to out go getter?

I am enjoying the scenery---- it doesn't mean I've slowed down- I'm actually speeding up!

I, too, felt odd reading this. It seemed a little sad. I think you only sit back and watch the view when you have got everything you want. Have you got everything you want?
